Rosemary Beach Diaries: Brunch So Hard

thepearlhotel

Ahh, yes, Rosemary Beach. Is there anywhere cuter? Maybe Alys, but that is still up for debate. My boyfriend and I traveled to 30A recently, and we are beyond obsessed with the charming sights and fabulous food.

I actually lived and worked on 30A for many years, and some things I miss about it every day. It's chic, picturesque, and delightfully homey. And I can't convey to you how much cuter it is than my hometown (sorry, Dothan, but you gots ta do better).

Anyway. On our trip, we didn't spend much time on the actual beach, but we bummed around the scenic neighborhoods taking in all the beautiful homes and dined at The Pearl for brunch and Cowgirl Kitchen for an early din. The trip was literally perfection, and I loved being able to share the small slice of heaven I called home for three years with someone I care for very much. (gag, right?)

Scroll below for a few more specifics about our trip, and I promise no more mushy stuff. <3

Havana Bar & Grill + Sugar Shak

Havana Bar & Grill

This was my third time visiting The Pearl for brunch, and it was amazing, as always. Phillip ordered the best omelette of my life, and I tucked myself into a mouthwatering plate of almond toast topped with a uniquely delicious whip. The food was phenom, but my favorite thing about dining at The Pearl is the decor. The vibe is a perfect harmony of Spanish, Portuguese, and French influence. It's a unique intersection of vintage and modern, and I would totes recommend it to any local or tourist.

The Sugar Shak

Even though I lived on 30A, I had never actually been to Sugar Shak. Spoiler alert: It's delicious. I'm honestly not a huge ice cream fan (*gasp*), but I was really into how jam-packed the store was with candies, sodas, and other sugary treats. If you're going to get diabetes, this is the cutest way to do it.

Cowgirl Kitchen

I've been a repeat customer of CK for years. I love it so much. I love both restaurant locations, but Rosemary is my fave. One of my go-to entrees is the chicken nachos with extra jalapeños. So lit. Phil got the tacos, and they are another favorite. We ate al fresco and chatted while people watching. My literal dream. We had an amazing time in Rosemary, and CK was the jalapeños on top.
