Red Express Top & Frequently Asked Fashion Questions

red express sweater

Sweater: Express (Love ALL of these colors!), Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Bag: Clare Vivier, Similar, Earrings: Gorjana, Sunnies: Quay (ON SALE!), Nails: OPI, Shoes: Steve Madden, Here, & Here

Red sweater for winter? Groundbreaking. You guys know I have a red OBSESSION. Same goes with pink. My closet is basically Valentine's Day at all times. They're both such fun, flattering colors that I just can't seem to get enough. I bring up pink because I also have this sweater in the pink soda version, and I am equally obsessed.

I was a little concerned when I first noticed that this sweater has wool in it. I am normally pretty sensitive to wool, but I've worn both the red and pink ones several times over the past month, and I haven't had any problems with either. Express is constantly selling out and restocking these, so if you find them in your size, BUY THEM! I am wearing an XS in each. They fit really well, but they are very cropped. Which I love, but if you want a less cropped look, go for a larger size.

I've had these jeans for YEARS, and I still wear them all the time. The brand is BDG from Urban Outfitters, and I am soooo into them, y'all. I wear them year round, and they are so versatile. I have this same style jean is many colors: here, here, and here. They don't lose their stretch at all, and they pair so well with cropped sweaters like this one

I've gotten a lot of questions about my white booties. I do love the look of them, but I must admit the comfort level is definitely lacking. They are more of an event shoe. I wear them to shoots and date nights, and that's about it. They are obviously a statement piece, so I didn't expect them to work for everyday wear. But I just want y'all to be mindful of that if you decide to pull the trigger. I think they are worth the sale price, but I would recommend trying them on before buying if possible.

I've also had a few questions about my leopard print clutch that I tote all the time (seen here and here). It is phenomenal. I got it like four years ago, and I still use it weekly. That's definitely saying something. I linked a dupe for those of you who don't want to shell out the designer price, but I promise y'all it's worth the upfront cost. It's super stylish, and it goes with everything! Which I know is really surprising since it's such a eye-catching print. But trust me, you'll be able to incorporate it into your wardrobe even more than you think!

Annnnnd lastly, a lot of you have had Q's about my nail polish. I usually have on OPI gel, and this week I'm wearing "Suzi & The Artic Fox," which is this yummy dark purple (almost black). Purple in general is not one of my favorite colors, but purple nails are a different story. I'm actually liking this shade even more than my usual fall fave "Lincoln Park After Dark." *shrugs*
