2017 has definitely been the year of the brow. I am often asked how I tame my eyebrows, so I thought I would do a post about my current brow routine.
Though I do like to experiment with different beauty brands, I have a few brow products that I always go back to. These are those products and how I use them.
Anastasia knows brows. It took a while for me to warm up to this beauty brand, but once I got their concealer, I knew I was hooked. The concealer was a mere gateway makeup for my foray into Anastasia because now I own like 450348 of the brow products and my fave glow kit.
Brow Wiz is one of my FAVORITE brow products of all time. I love that it is two-sided, and the buildable coverage is natural looking and forgiving. I personally am into a "done" natural look. This may sound like an oxymoron, but I want my brows to look polished without looking overly drawn. I like my eyebrow hair to look like—well—hair.
Love. Obsessed. Can't get enough. This pomade is BROW CHANGING. This is probably the product that I use most frequently. Because my brows are naturally on the fuller side, I am able to just use this to outline them and brush the product through each brow with my brow brush. This way of styling gives me a more natural vibe because it's less filled in than when I use the both the dipbrow and brow wiz together. I wear shade "chocolate" in both.
I use this brow brush to first brush up my brows, then I dip it into the pomade to outline the tops and bottoms of my eyebrows. Even if I don't use my pomade that day, I always always always brush my brows before applying any kind of brow products. It makes all the difference.
This was one of my first brow products ever. When I first started getting into brow maintenance, this brand was my saving grace. I had no idea what I was doing with my brows, but after a few (err, hundred) YouTube tutorials and this brow kit, I felt like I *kind of* knew what I was doing. I get compliments all the time when I use this product, so it must be doing something. *shrugs*
On a typical day, I don't wear this product. This is more of a bring-out-all-the-stops product for me. But when I do a full face, you better believe this fun little thing is involved. It really does make your brows pop and your overall look appear more polished, but I just never remember to do it unless I'm shooting a look or filming, smh.
What are your fave brow products atm? Let me know if you'd be interested in me filming a brow tutorial. I'm def not a beauty guru, but I'd love to share my go-to process if you're interested!
